The Advertising Standards Authority require statements to be supported by measured scientific evidence, making it extremely difficult for us to recommend Acupuncture and indeed alternative therapies for specific conditions.
I can say Acupuncture is part of a much older system of medicine that has existed for at least 4000 years, long before science. It is unlikely that acupuncture would have lasted were it not successful.
Traditional Acupuncture therapy attempts to restore balance and promote health and healing by treating the Qi/Chi or the body’s vital energy.
Many people come to acupuncture for help with specific symptoms or conditions, or because they feel generally unwell, but have no clear diagnosis. Others choose acupuncture for their feeling of wellbeing or to help maintain good health.
